AIHD opens Mini M.M. in Health field training at Lampang

The ASEAN Institute for Health Development #AIHD, Mahidol University, organized a field training for its Mini Master of Management in Health to reach out to provinces that need assistance in building the capacities and improve the competencies of provincial public health administrators.
On 21 December 2020, AIHD responded to Lampang Provincial Public Health Office’s invitation to organize and conduct the Mini M.M. in Health field training at the Lampang Hospital, Lampang Province. Lampang Provincial Public Health Office has asked AIHD to help develop the potential of public health administrators, executives of Lampang Hospital, District Public Health officers, and heads of the Lampang Provincial Public Health Office.
Mr. Prasert Kijsuwonrat, M.D., Chief Medical Officer of the Lampang Provincial Public Health Office, has assigned Mr. Nopparat Watcharakajornkul, M.D., Deputy Medical Officer to welcome the Chair of the said field training, Mr. Pongsak Sopon, M.D., Director of Lampang Hospital.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D. AIHD Director and Dr. Pornthep Siriwanarangsan, M.D., President of Thailand Preventive Medicine, did the honor of welcoming the trainees. More than 50 participants came to join the Mini MM in Health field training, which includes Lampang Hospital administrators, district public health staff, and heads of Lampang Public Health Office.
Dr. Pornthep Siriwanarangsan provided a special lecture on “Applied Preventive Medicine for Health Administrator” while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana gave a talk on “The health system development to achieve National Health Security and sustainable development goal”.
