AIHD conducted an online interview with the Nakhon Phanom DHB

On 8 September 2021, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D.; Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University and head of the project “Policy options for strengthening district committee on improving quality of life (district health board: DHB)” interviewed advisory members for DHB, and committee members of Nakhon Phanom province via Zoom Meeting. This project was funded by Health Systems Research Institute (HSRI).
Mr. Thanapat Sriworakarn; Assistant of District Public Health Officer, was honored to join the meeting on behalf of Phon Sawan District Public Health Officer, along with Mr. Jirachay Prasoppunya, and AIHD research team. During the meeting, they shared information about the process to enhance DHB work, techniques for cooperating with network partners, determination of issues/sources of planning, operational direction and results, success factors, problems, obstacles, recommendations, and the assessment using the UCCARE criteria, which is very important and will be useful for applying the data for analysis and synthesis. The resulting policy recommendations on the implementation of the DHB will be proposed to the Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Interior, and other network partners involved to enhance the policy for improving the quality of life towards the achievement of sustainable development goals.
