Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D.; Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development , Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat; Dean of Faculty of Information And Communication Technology (ICT), Mahidol University, Ms. Pagaporn Pengsart; lecturer, Dr. Siripen Pongpalchet; ICT discussed with Mr. Nares Maneeted, M.D.; Director of Nakhon Chaisi Hospital, Mr. Yutthakran Chinasote, M.D.; Director of Luangphorpern Hospital, staff from information technology and communication department, Nakhon Pathom Provincial Public Health Office, and Covid-19 vaccine service team via Zoom Online Meeting.
During the meeting, they shared knowledge to develop research to enhance the accessibility of COVID-19 vaccine for Nakhon Pathom people.
This project is aimed at creating a tool for surveying recipients of the COVID-19 vaccine service in Nakhon Pathom. This collaborative work is by Nakhon Pathom Provincial Public Health Office, Nakhon Pathom Province's Covid-19 Vaccine Service Team, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University for implementing vaccination against COVID-19 for people in all age groups thoroughly and comprehensively. This also prevents the spread of COVID-19 and supports doctors and health workers to work more efficiently.
Moreover, lecturers from ICT also deliver tools to show the position of vaccinated people on the map. They also continued to develop the server system and plan to add more databases about vaccine registration, appointment, news update, and show risk location for Healthcare in Integrated People-Centred Health Services: IPCHS, especially for the vulnerable and elderly to access health services with equity.
