AIHD opened Mini M.M. in Health-Nakhon Ratchasima training program

On 15 October 2022, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University held the opening ceremony of the Mini M.M. in Health-Nakhon Ratchasima Training Program. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D.; Director of AIHD assigned Asst. Prof. Dr. Supaporn Songpracha; Deputy Director of Academic Affairs to join the opening ceremony, give a speech and welcome participants. Dr. Achara Nitiapinyasakul, M.D.; Director of Health Region 9 and Dr. Pornthep Siriwanarangsan, M.D.; President of the Preventive Medicine Association of Thailand were honored to preside over the training program.

This program was collaborated by the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University and the Preventive Medicine Association of Thailand, which aimed to enhance the capacity building of public health professionals. This training program will be held for 10 days from 15 October 2022 to 22 January 2023. The first session of the training was honored by Dr. Pornthep Siriwanarangsan, M.D.; President of the Preventive Medicine Association of Thailand, who lectured on “Applied Preventive Medicine for Health Executives” and “Financial Management in Hospital and Health Services Center” at Centara Hotel Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima. A total of 82 participants attended the training program, including doctors, dentists, pharmacists, medical technologists, physiotherapists, nurses, and health academics from Nakhon Ratchasima, Surin, Buriram, and the nearest areas.
