AIHD attended the merit-making ceremony in commemoration of the passing of “His Majesty, King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great”

On 12 October 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj; Acting for Deputy Director for Administration, ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University along with administrators, and staff participated in the merit-making ceremony to commemorate the death of “His Majesty, King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great” at the Office of the President, Mahidol University. In this regard, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D.; President of Mahidol University was honored to preside over the ceremony to make merit and offer food to monks at the Office of the President, Mahidol University.
On 13 October every year Nawamintha Maharat Day is observed, which commemorates the anniversary of the death of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great. It is a day for remembrance and gratitude, as we reflect on the infinite kindness and great contributions made by the King to our country.
