Asst. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D., Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, presided over “The Strategic Action Plan for the ASEAN Institute for Health Development Workshop” and provided a special lecture on “The Policies to achieve the vision” on 2 September 2020 at Baan Amphawa Resort and Spa, Samut Songkhram.
The workshop aimed to come up with a strategic plan to drive AIHD’s vision tallies with AIHD and Mahidol University’s strategies. It was conducted using the brainstorming process with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantawat Sitdhiraksa, M.D., Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, serving as the moderator.
In attendance were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somboon Sirisunhirun, Deputy Director for Administrator Development; Asst. Prof. Dr. Vijj Kasemsup, M.D., Deputy Director; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantawat Sitdhiraksa, M.D., Deputy Director for Academic Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sakda Arj-ong Vallipakorn, M.D., Assistant Director for Research and Innovation; AIHD lecturers; and AIHD academic and staff.
The honored speakers of the said workshop and have helped facilitate the brainstorming to develop the AIHD Working Plan 2021 include AIHD’s Deputy Director for Administrator Development, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somboon Sirisunhirun along with Assoc. Prof. Phut Ploywan and Asst. Prof. Dr. Krish Rugchatjaroen from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mahidol University, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Wuthichai Arakpothchong, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Management Science, Silpakorn University.
