AIHD held the open ceremony of Mini M.M. in Health batch 38

On 1 December 2023, ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University was honored by Dr. Pornthep Siriwanarangsan, M.D.; President of Preventive Medicine Association of Thailand to preside over the open ceremony of Mini Master of Management in Health batch 38 (Mini M.M. in Health). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuthamanee Suthisisang; Acting for Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University assigned Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cheerawit Rattanapan; Program Director of the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Health and Sustainable Development (International Program) gave to welcome speech for speakers and participants. Asst. Prof. Dr. Doungjai Buntup; AIHD lecturer and program responsible person reported the introduction and objectives of the program at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University. The Mini Master of Management in Health batch 38 (Mini M.M. in Health) is a short training program that collaborated with Preventive Medicine Association of Thailand and ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University. This training aims to enhance capacity building public health staff who are doctors, nurses, academics, and related persons to be the leadership skills and ability for public health administration. The 90 participants will have opportunities to exchange knowledge and experience with experts for 5 months from 1 December 2023 – 28 April 2024. The first lecture on 1 December 2023 was honored by Dr. Pornthep Siriwanarangsan, M.D.; President of Preventive Medicine Association of Thailand to lecture on “Applied Preventive Medicine for Health System Executives and Finical Management at hospital health services" which aims to apply the principles of preventive medicine and apply to the health system all levels, develop and manage the health service system and primary care services including the introduction of innovations in public health management.
