On 25 June 2024, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University held the AIHD advisory meeting to exchange and share knowledge for enhancing policy and action plans aligned with the AIHD mission. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuthamanee Suthisisang; Acting Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development delivered a welcome remark to Dr. Sopon Mekthon; Chair of the AIHD advisory committee meeting, and committee members including Dr. Suwit Wibulpolprasert, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nawarat Suwannapong, and Dr. Prakasit Kayasith. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mathuros Tipayamongkholgul; Acting Deputy Director for Research and Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj; Acting Deputy Director for Administration, and program director also attended this meeting at Krasae Chanawongse room and online via Zoom Meeting.
In this regard, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuthamanee Suthisisang presented the AIHD flagship project and the progress of Doctor Philosophy in Primary Health Care Management (International Program). Then, Dr. Sopon Mekthon; Chair of the AIHD advisory committee and committee members provided suggestions and exchanged opinions on driving policies and operational plans of the institute to achieve the vision "To be the recognized academic institute of Global Health, Health Policy, and Health Development in the ASEAN region by 2027".
