A “Nutrition Workshop 2024” Co-organized by ASEAN Institute for Health Development

ASEAN Institute for Health Development and Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University, in collaboration with Ajinomoto Foundation, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, and The Office of the Basic Education Commission, Ministry of Education organized the “Nutrition Workshop 2024”. Led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitti Sranacharoenpong, a Professor of AIHD and Project Leader of “Ajinomoto Nutrition for Thai Children to Advance towards Building a Nation”, the workshop was designed for 10 selected primary schools from across Thailand that received funding for constructing school canteens in 2024. A total of 50 participants, including school directors, district education officers, lunch program teachers, health teachers, and cooks from each school, attended the training program. The workshop was held at the IBIS Ratchada Hotel, Bangkok, from October 10 - 12, 2024. This initiative aims to provide canteens for 180 primary schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission, ensuring that Thai children have better health and become a key force in developing the country.
