Master of Primary Health Care Management and Ph.D. in Health and Sustainable Development Students from the ASEAN Institute for Health Development Visited Primary Health Care Services in Wat Phleng District, Ratchaburi

On February 12, 2025, as part of the ongoing study visit on health service systems in Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom, and Ratchaburi, faculty members and students continued their field visits by exploring primary health care services in Wat Phleng District, Ratchaburi Province.
The visit was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orapin Laosee, Deputy Director for Administration and Academic Services and Chair of the Master of Primary Health Care Management (International Program), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations.
The study visit included an examination of the operations of village health volunteers and the health services provided by Ban Pak Sra Health Center and Ban Wiang Tun Health Promoting Hospital in Wat Phleng District, Ratchaburi Province. The delegation was honored to have Dr. Itsaranuwat Yongpisanphop, D.D.S., Head of the Dental Department at Wat Phleng Hospital, as a guest speaker and guide for exploring the living conditions of the local community. This study visit aimed to provide students with practical experience and knowledge that could be applied to the development of sustainable primary healthcare systems and overall health services in the future.
