CONNECT network under the collaboration on AIHD, ILO, and partners held the CONNECT Network Annual Meeting

The CONNECT Network Annual Meeting was successfully held on February 21, 2025, bringing together key stakeholders to review progress, discuss future strategies, and explore opportunities to strengthen the network. Representatives from CONNECT member countries, including Thailand, Lao PDR, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Australia, participated in the meeting via an online platform. The meeting commenced with opening and welcome remarks delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University. This was followed by a presentation on the activities undertaken by the CONNECT Network in 2024, highlighting key achievements and ongoing initiatives. Additionally, a representative from the International Labour Organization (ILO) presented various activities undertaken by the network, including organizing discussions to exchange knowledge on Social Health Protection and conducting research on health service systems for maternity protection. A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to discussions on the 2025 action plan, focusing on strategies to enhance the network’s efficiency and exploring possibilities for expansion to further strengthen regional and international collaboration. The CONNECT Network remains committed to fostering meaningful partnerships and driving impactful initiatives in the field.
