ASEAN Institute for Health Development Participates as Speaker in the S.M.A.R.T.S. Model School Program

On March 6-8, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitti Sranacharoenpong, a faculty member of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, had the honor of being a speaker at a training workshop under the S.M.A.R.T.S. Model School program. This initiative, organized by the Ajinomoto Foundation, aims to strengthen and sustain model schools in the school lunch program, as well as promote capacity building and enhance the knowledge of education personnel involved in food and nutrition management in schools. The training brought together participants from primary education service area district offices in Phetchaburi, Pathum Thani, Nan, Chiang Mai, Tak, Chiang Rai, Phatthalung, Yala, Nakhon Phanom, and Surin. The 60 attendees included school directors, school lunch program coordinators, teachers responsible for health and hygiene, financial and procurement officers, and school cooks. The event took place at Eastin Thana City Golf Resort, Bangkok.
