ASEAN University Network – Health Promotion Network
AUN–HPN membership
has two categories: full member and associate member. Currently, full members
of
AUN is limited to 30 universities in the ten ASEAN countries. There are no membership fees.
Associate Member
Organizations or entities interested in joining AUN–HPN can apply to be an
associate member.
The principle of AUN thematic networks is to provide interested higher education
institutions or other organizations with a more inclusive and alternative platform for engagement and
collaboration with AUN in focus areas, even though they are not AUN full members. Interested parties can
choose to participate and engage with AUN–HPN if they are interested in health promotion and have relevant
capacity and resources.
Associate membership is open to any higher educational institution that fully
meets the eligible criteria, and associate members can benefit from the intellectual exchange and shared
exchange of knowledge, skills and resources, and opportunities to attend workshops and courses and be
involved in joint projects and activities. There is also the opportunity to be involved in collective
advocacy efforts to promote health policy at regional and global levels.
Associate Member
The AUN–HPN Secretariat, through its Steering Committee, approves an application
at its discretion based on AUN–HPN policies and eligible criteria endorsed by the AUN–HPN International
Advisory Committee.
Instruction to Register HURS
The AUN-HPN Secretariat Office will send the link and password for signing into the online HURS questionnaire to key respondents and approval person of each participating university.
The key respondent, or a group of respondents will be responsible for filling out the online questionnaire and send the completed questionnaire to the approval person, being authorized by the rector or president of the university, to recheck the completed questionnaire before submitting it to the AUN-HPN secretariat office.
The AUN-HPN Secretariat will send the completed questionnaire to two reviewers who will evaluate answers based on evidence submitted into the online HURS questionnaire
The reviewers will secure the evaluation, assigning relevant number of stars to participating universities.
