AIHD Organizes the 4th Training on “Mini Master of Management in Health for Ethnic Health Care Managers”

On September 12–13, 2024, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, conducted the fourth session of the Training on Mini Master of Management in Health for Ethnic Health Care Managers. On September 12, 2024, the program was honored by Dr. Panitee Thammavijaya from the Division of Epidemiology, Department of Disease Control, who delivered a lecture on “Disease Surveillance.” This was followed by a presentation by Associate Professor Dr. Piyapong Chanmaimool, Lecturer in the Health Development Academic Group, AIHD, on “Social Return on Investment Assessment: Focusing on Health and Well-being Impacts of Sustainability Projects.” On September 13, 2024, a team of experts from Community Partners International (CPI) conducted a knowledge exchange session on “Health Information Management and Health Management Information Systems (HMIS)” with the participants. A total of 51 participants from various organizations in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar—including KDHW, CHO, EHSSG, BPHWT, BMA, MTC, SHD, PPDC, and CHDN—joined the training via online platform. The session aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge and skills in disease surveillance, impact assessment for health-related projects, and health information management, enhancing their capacity to effectively manage and improve health systems in diverse ethnic contexts.
