Routine to Research (R2R) Program – Batch 2

On November 11, 2020, Associate Professor Dr. Somboon Sirisanharin, Deputy Director for Administration and System Development, ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony of the Workshop on Routine to Research (R2R) Program – Batch 2, held from November 11–13, 2020, at Room 2108, AIHD, Mahidol University. The objective of this training program was to equip participants with knowledge and understanding of developing academic work from routine tasks (Routine to Research: R2R), enabling them to identify and synthesize problems arising from their regular work and transform them into research projects. Participants gained guidelines for improving and developing their daily work through research, and enhanced their understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods for practical application. The program also provided participants with hands-on research experience, supporting the production of high-quality academic work that adheres to academic standards. In addition, the training aimed to promote continuous personal and organizational development, encourage the creation of research and academic outputs for career advancement, and establish a supportive system and network for managing and promoting R2R-based research activities in various fields. A total of 40 participants attended the workshop.
