On November 23, 2023, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), organized the Opening Ceremony of the 2nd Workshop on Project Monitoring and Lesson Learned Sharing under the project “Enhancing Sustainable Community Health Management through Capacity Building in Health System Management by Learning Together in Real Situations.” The event was honored by Dr. Pongthep Wongwatcharapaiboon, Director of the Office of Health System Development Support, ThaiHealth, who delivered the opening remarks and gave a special lecture on the concept of health promotion and strengthening primary health care teams to improve community health systems. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mathuros Thipmongkolkul, Acting Deputy Director for Research and Academic Affairs, AIHD, delivered a welcome speech, while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arunsri Mongkolchat, Project Director, presented the project objectives and preliminary results from the lesson-learned process. A total of 135 participants attended the workshop, both onsite at Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok, and online via Zoom Meeting. Representatives from all 13 regional learning centers joined in the reflective learning sessions. Participants took part in creative group activities, including Body Paint and Mind Mapping under the theme “Reflecting on Learning and Sharing Experiences from Previous Learning Center Activities.” The session concluded with presentations and discussions summarizing collective insights, where participants shared how the lessons learned could be applied to their daily work, personal life, family, and community, emphasizing continuous reflection and growth in community health development.
