The curriculum consists of 10 key modules: Public Health Policy and Direction of Primary Health Care Development, Concepts and Theories Related to Primary Health Care, Utilization of the Standard VHV Training Curriculum, Morality, Ethics, and Code of Conduct for Trainers, Laws and Regulations Related to VHVs, Training Design, Planning, and Evaluation, Database and Digital Technology for Trainers, Health Communication and Behavioral Change, Recreational Activity Techniques, Teamwork Skills and Collaboration. The training emphasizes practical learning, analytical thinking, and applied management, enabling participants to effectively implement and manage VHV training programs at the community level — in alignment with the evolving social, economic, and environmental contexts. The VHV Trainer Development Program – Batch 2 aims to produce 40 new certified VHV trainers, with a goal of developing at least three trainers per province, before expanding the program to all districts nationwide.
