Scholarship Announcement: Master of Primary Health Care Management (International Program)

The ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University will offer scholarships to outstanding graduates in Master of Primary Health Care Management (International Program) to support their education and research to promote and support graduate education. This scholarship is a collaborative effort between the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mahidol University, aimed at fostering academic excellence and contributing to the development of primary healthcare leaders in Myanmar.

Financial Support

  1. Full tuition fee coverage
  2. Living allowance of 15000 Thai Baht per month for 12 months

Program Highlights

The Master of Primary Health Care Management (International Program) at AIHD is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of primary health care principles and their effective management. The program includes:

Scholarship Requirements

  1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in the field of health sciences from domestic or overseas institution approved by the Ministry of Education, Thailand.
  2. Must be a Myanmar national.
  3. Provide English proficiency with evidence according to Mahidol University regulations

Graduate requirements

The total time of study should not exceed the study plan.

  1. Students must complete courses as stated in the curriculum, at least 24 credits of coursework with a minimum CUM-GPA of 3.00, and a thesis (12 credits).
  2. Students must meet the English Competence Standard of Graduate Students, Mahidol University defined by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
  3. Students must participate and pass in skill development activities of the Graduate Studies, at Mahidol University
  4. Students must submit and present theses, pass the public oral thesis defense, and receive approval from the thesis examination committee appointed by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
  5. Parts of the thesis are required to be published or accepted in the national or international academic database journal according to the announcement of the office of higher education commission or present in an international conference proceeding according to the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
