Intermediate-Level Mini Master of Management in Health for Ethnic Health Care Managers (14 August – 30 October 2025)

On 11 – 12 September 2025, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, successfully conducted the Human Resources for Health Module of the Intermediate-Level Mini Master of Management in Health for Ethnic Health Care Managers via Zoom.
Day one opened with the session on Overview of Human Resources for Health (HRH) Management by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Orapin Laosee from AIHD, followed by Dr. Ann Linn, who delivered an insightful session on HRH Management. In the afternoon, trainers: Dr. Cho presented the HRH Information System and Dr. Ann Linn delivered a session on Sharing tools related to the HRH Information System. These sessions actively engaged 64 participants from diverse health organizations.
Day two covered Mechanisms for health workforce retention and motivation by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Orapin Laosee from AIHD, and Dr. Ann Linn shared on Case Studies from Conflict Areas with interactive group work and exercise. The afternoon session started with the session on Understanding accreditation & licensure by Dr. Coral, followed by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Orapin Laosee and Dr. Cho shared the accreditation, licensure process in Thailand Institutions and Karen Training Program, which deepened participants’ understanding.
The module concluded with a wrap up and evaluation session, marking the completion of Module 3: Human Resources for Health.
The online training was hosted from the Ratchaphruek Room, AIHD, running from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
This training program is jointly organized by the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, in collaboration with CPI scheduled from 14 August to 30 October 2025, the hybrid-format training aims to strengthen leadership and public health administration skills, while fostering knowledge exchange on Thailand’s public health service system.
