Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University presided over the 10th AUH-HPN Steering Committee meeting, along with Dr. Wiwat Rojanapittayakorn, M.D.; Secretary General of ASEAN University Network - Health Promotion Sub-Network (AUN-HPN), Assoc. Prof. Dr.Sakda Arj-ong Vallibhakara, M.D.; Deputy Director for Research Innovation and Academic Services and Deputy Secretary General AUN-HPN (on behalf of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D.; Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University), Prof. Dr. Chartchalerm Isarankura-Na-Ayudhya, Dean of Faculty of Medical Technology and head of Healthy University Rating System: HURS project, Assoc. Prof. Chalat Santivarangkna, Ph.D.; Director of The Institute of Nutrition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Walasinee Sakcamduang; Dean of Faculty of Veterinary Science, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sauwakon Ratanawijitrasin; Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and Asst. Prof. Dr.Vijj Kasemsup, M.D.; Deputy Director for Policy Promotion and Deputy Secretary General AUN-HPN on 29 March 2021 at Office of President, Mahidol University.
The aims of the meeting were to plan the implementation and allocation of the budget for 2021, prepare activities, summarize the activities of Healthy University Day 2020. They also discussed the development and implementation of the Healthy University Rating System: HURS, for which Mahidol University is the center for development. This system will provide self-assessment for interested universities and will develop a framework and guidelines for promoting health in the future.
