AIHD held a meeting to develop MAAD

On 22 June 2022, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D.; Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development #AIHD, Mahidol University assigned Asst. Prof. Dr. Supaporn Songpracha; Deputy Director of Academic Affairs to preside over the meeting for the Master of Arts Program in Addiction Studies (MAAD). The meeting, which was held in the Ratchapruke room and online via Zoom meeting aimed to develop and improve the curriculum to be an international program according to graduate program standards and guidelines for the management of higher education curriculum standards and Mahidol University regulations concerning graduate studies This meeting was honored by experts, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuthamanee Suthisisang, Ph.D.; Vice President of Mahidol University, Dr. Jirot Sinthawanon, M.D.; Director of Academic Office, Praboromarajchanok Institute, Asst. Prof. Dr. Apinun Aramrattana; Director of Narcotics Control Technology Center in North, Chiang Mai University, Prof. Ronnachai Kongsakon, M.D.; Deputy Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Dr. Phusit Prakongsai, M.D.; Expert Doctor (Health Promotion), Health Academic, Ministry of Public Health, and other experts from Thailand and abroad. MAAD is an integrated curriculum of 3 major disciplines, namely science, psychology and social science; Bio-Psycho-Social. This program provides a unique opportunity to study addiction science in its broadest sense and examines key issues from a national and international perspective through a multidisciplinary, cross-cultural approach to addiction studies.
