On 20 February 2024, Prof. Dr. ChartchalermIsarankura-Na-Ayudhya, Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University and Chair of the Committee on HURS Development together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuthamanee Suthisisang, Executive Director of AUN-HPN and Acting Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development; and Assoc. On this occasion, Dr. Agustin Kusumayati, Secretary of Universitas Indonesia, along with UI delegates, warmly welcomed and guided the HURS reviewers team to observe the implementation of a healthy university. The HURS version 2023 was launched during August 15 - November 16, 2023, with all 21 ASEAN leading universities participating in the assessment. After the data verification, it was founded that this version will be the first year that 2 universities: Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Universitas Indonesia are likely to receive the score of five-star plus. This visit was prompted by the opening of the Healthy University Rating System (HURS) by the AUN-HPN network office from August 15 to November 16, 2566. During this period, 21 leading universities in the ASEAN region participated in the assessment, marking the first year that universities in the ASEAN region received evaluations. Two universities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Universitas Indonesia, achieved a 5-star+ rating. The objective of this visit was to follow up and confirm the results of the Healthy University Rating System (HURS) Version 2023 evaluation of the university that obtained a 5-star+ rating. This was done to verify whether the practices aligned with the Healthy University assessment criteria before the official announcement of the scores, which was scheduled for late February to early March 2567. Furthermore, this visit held significance for exchanging and learning best practices from the university that achieved a 5-star+ rating. The leading team working on the development of the HURS system aimed to utilize the knowledge gained to enhance data compilation practices and extend the benefits to other universities within the network. The overall goal was to improve the efficiency of the Healthy University Rating System (HURS) in monitoring and evaluating the health status of universities. Universitas Indonesia is considered a key member university of the AUN-HPN, actively driving initiatives to promote health and placing importance on using the Healthy University Rating System (HURS) to develop policies for sustainable practices. This is aimed at fostering a healthy lifestyle and creating a suitable environment for a "Healthy University.”
