AIHD held Training on Mini Master of Management in Health for Ethnic Health Care Managers opening ceremony

On 25 July 2024, ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University held Training on Mini Master of Management in Health for Ethnic Health Care Managers opening ceremony via online Zoom Meeting. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mathuros Tipayamongkholgul; Acting for Deputy Director for Research and Academic Affairs presided over the opening ceremony and gave welcome remarks to 51 participants from KDHW, CHO, EHSSG, BPHWT, BMA, MTC, SHD, PPDC, and CHDN.
For the today session, Dr.Chawetsan Namwat; former Thai Co-Director of Thailand Ministry of Public Health – US CDC collaboration on Public Health was honored to lecture on Health system concepts and resilience and Lect. Dr.Phusit Prakongsai, M.D.; Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University to lecture on Health financing.
The training on Mini Master of Management in Health for Ethnic Health Care Managers is collaborated by ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University and Community Partners International (CPI) which scheduled on 25 July – 28 September 2024 via Hybrid system. This training aims to enhance health system resilience in conflict setting and approach to UHC/ health equity. During the training, participants will exchange the knowledge and idea from honored speaker on various topics eg. Human resources for health management, Leadership and governance for health in Ethnic Conflict-affected areas in Myanmar, Health Equity and UHC to enhance management capabilities and effectively apply in the area.
