Australia’s HNECC PHN Deputy Chairperson gives online lecture for AIHD’s Master of Primary Health Care Management

The ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University (MU) invited Adjunct Prof. Dr. David Briggs, Deputy Director of the Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Care Network (HNECC PHN) and AIHD Adjunct Professor, to provide an online lecture via Webex on 29 September 2020, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
Prof. David Briggs gave the online lecture to AIHD’s Master of Primary Health Care Management (MPHCM) students taking ADPM602: Health Service and Primary Health Care Management subject. A total of 11 graduate students have joined and participated in the lecture. These students come from different countries including Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Japan, and Thailand.
Prof. Briggs’ three-hour lecture was centered on the topic “Leadership for Effective Management”. Asst. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D., Director of AIHD, MU and MPHCM Course Director along with Asst. Prof. Somsak Wongsawass, AIHD Lecturer and MPHCM Course Co-Director provided assistance to Prof. Briggs during the three-hour online academic activity.
