The AUN-HPN Secretariat hosted a workshop on the Evaluation of Healthy University Rating System (HURS) 2025 for universities in Thailand University Network and interested universities.

On June 16, 2025, the AUN-HPN Secretariat organized a workshop on the Evaluation of the Healthy University Rating System (HURS) 2025. The workshop aimed to equip data recorders and relevant personnel with a thorough understanding of the evaluation criteria and effectively apply the HURS framework to advance their institutions as health-promoting universities within their specific contexts. The workshop was chaired by Prof. Dr. Chartchalerm Isarankura-Na-Ayudhya, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University and Chair of the Committee on HURS Development. The distinguished speaker lineup included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Executive Director of AUN-HPN and Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, Deputy Executive Director of AUN-HPN and Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations at ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University; Dr. Wiwat Rojanapithayakorn, M.D., Advisor of the AUN-HPN Steering Committee; Asst. Prof. Dr. Vijj Kasemsup, M.D., Director of Tobacco Control Research and Knowledge Management Center (TRC); and Asst. Prof. Dr. Supaporn Songpracha, a lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mahidol University. These experts served as instructors, sharing their knowledge and fostering a deeper understanding of health-promoting university approaches for 80 participants representing 22 universities across Thailand. The workshop was conducted in a hybrid format, both in Room 2108, Training Building, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, and virtually via Zoom.
