The ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD) presented its progress report during the online site visit activity under Mahidol University’s Smoke-Free University Development Plan.

On July 2, 2025, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD) participated in the online site visit activity under the Mahidol University Development Guidelines to Become a Smoke-free University Plan for the fiscal year 2025. The event was organized by the Committee for Developing Mahidol University to be a Smoke-Free University. On this occasion, Dr. Tarinee Buadit, Chair of the AIHD Smoke-Free University Development Committee, presented the institute’s progress report based on the 7 indicators of the Smoke-Free Higher Education Institution Development Standards. The report covered aspects such as policy implementation, health promotion activities, and curriculum integration, all aimed at supporting staff and students in achieving good health and a smoke-free lifestyle. AIHD operational approach aligns with its vision to drive health policies and the sustainable development of health systems.
