ASEAN Institute for Health Development co-hosts the 16th International Graduate Students Conference on Population and Public Health Sciences (IGSCPP)

On July 14, 2025, ASEAN INSTITUTE FOR HEALTH DEVELOPMENT, MAHIDOL UNIVERSITY co-hosted the 16th International Graduate Students Conference on Population and Public Health Sciences (IGSCPP). Associate Professor Dr. Orapin Laosee, Deputy Director of Administration and Academic Services, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, gave a welcome speech at the opening ceremony, along with Professor Dr. Chitlada Areesantichai, Dean of the College of Public Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, and Associate Professor Dr. Chalermpol Chaemchan, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University. The conference was honored by Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, who gave an opening speech at the College of Public Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University. And there was a lecture on the topic of "Community Resilience for Earthquake Disaster Management" by Associate Professor Toyoda Yusuke from the Graduate School of Policy Science, Ritsumeikan University, Japan. This academic conference was attended by graduate students of AIHD to present their work in both Oral Presentation and Poster format, with faculty members. The 16th International Graduate Students Conference on Population and Public Health Sciences (IGSCPP) is an international academic conference held annually for academics, researchers, and graduate students to present their research on public health and population studies from various countries.
