ASEAN Institute for Health Development Leads Exchange Students from Chang Gung University on a Study Visit to the Department of Health Service Support, Ministry of Public Health

On July 16, 2025, faculty members from the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Dr. Seema Vijay Medhe and Dr. Syarifah Aqilah, led exchange students from Chang Gung University, Taiwan, on a study visit to the Department of Health Service Support, Ministry of Public Health.
On this occasion, the faculty and students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Charas Ratchakul, Director of Primary Health Care Division, Department of Health Service Support. The group also attended a special lecture on the topic “Thailand Village Health Volunteers and Health System” delivered by Mr. Prasit Piriyapaiboon, Deputy Director, Primary Health Care Division and Chief of Academic and Innovation Development Group, Department of Health Service Support, Ministry of Public Health. He is also alumnus of the Master of Primary Health Care Management Program (Batch 37).
This activity was part of efforts to enhance understanding of Thailand health service system and to promote international exchange of knowledge in the field of Primary Health Care among the Institute exchange students.
