The ASEAN Institute for Health Development held a collaborative meeting with the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute, Republic of Singapore.

On September 18, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, together with Associate Professor Dr. Cheerawit Rattanapan, Deputy Director for Research and Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Dr. Orapin Laosee, Deputy Director for Administration and Academic Services, and Associate Professor Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations, along with faculty members and researchers from the Institute, organize the collaborative meeting with the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute, Republic of Singapore. The meeting was joined by Prof. Renzo R. Guinto, MD, DrPH, Associate Professor of Global and Planetary Health, along with a team of researchers. The objective of the meeting was to explore a collaborative in several academic areas, including student and staff mobility, joint research development, and collaboration on educational curricula and special lectures on Global Health and Planetary Health. The meeting was held at the Krasae Chanawongse Meeting Room, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, and via Microsoft Teams. The executives and participants agreed to co-organize the future activities under the theme “Global Health and Planetary Health in ASEAN” which further emphasized by Professor Renzo R. Guinto on the importance role of the ASEAN University Network – Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN) Secretariat as a key network for expanding education and research in the areas of health promotion across the ASEAN region.
