On 15 October 2025, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orapin Laosee, held a meeting with the CONNECT Network, a regional network focused on Social Health Protection. The ASEAN Institute for Health Development serves as the CONNECT Network Secretariat. The meeting was organized to review past achievements and discuss future work plans with network members from various countries in the ASEAN region, aiming to advance academic work in Social Health Protection. The meeting was conducted online via Zoom, with representatives from member organizations in attendance, including the International Labour Organization (ILO), Hanoi University of Public Health (Socialist Republic of Vietnam), National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) (Kingdom of Cambodia), and Thammasat University (Thailand).
