ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, Conducts Active Shooter Response Training

On October 17, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony of the training program and drill on “Active Shooter Response: Run – Hide – Fight.” The session was honored to have Pol. Sub Lt. Jeerasak Udomsinanont, Deputy Inspector, Counter-Terrorism Division, Special Operations Command, Royal Thai Police, and his team of experts as guest speakers. They provided lectures and hands-on training to AIHD faculty members, staff, and students to enhance their knowledge, understanding, and awareness of key principles, appropriate actions, and survival procedures in the event of an active shooter situation, as well as safe methods for assisting others. The training was held at Boonsiri Meeting Room, Training Building, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, Salaya.
