ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University Participates in the Global Innovation Circle on Higher Education

On October 23–24, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, and Executive Director of the ASEAN University Network – Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN), was honored to represent the ASEAN University Network (AUN) and the ASEAN+3 University Network at The Global Innovation Circle on Higher Education. Dr. Thunwadee also served as a speaker and panelist in the session titled “Building the Future of Health Promotion in ASEAN: Innovative Academic Network Collaboration for Advancing Health Promotion in ASEAN Universities.” The event was hosted by the University of Hamburg in collaboration with the German Rectors’ Conference and the Volkswagen Foundation, and held in Hanover, Germany. The meeting gathered leaders from prominent international higher education networks worldwide to establish a “network of networks.” Its primary aim was to foster strategic dialogue on the key theme “Building Innovative Networks in Complex Times: What Lies Ahead for International Collaboration in Higher Education?” and to help shape the future direction of global academic and higher education development.
