ASEAN University Network – Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN) attended International Health Promoting Campuses Network (IHPCN): Steering Group Meeting

On October 31, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Executive Director of AUN-HPN and Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development in accordance with the Steering Group of IHPCN from various countries, namely Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Germany, Ireland, India, New Zealand, Turkey, United Kingdom, and United States attended the International Health Promoting Campuses Network (IHPCN): Steering Group Meeting via Zoom Meeting Platform. The IHPCN Steering Group was established to strengthen collaboration and support the implementation of health-promoting university initiatives in alignment with the Okanagan Charter. Highlighted discussion topics were as follows: 1. Progress on the Development of the Limerick Framework for Action 2. IHPCN Strategy, Governance, and Infrastructure 3. Research Collaboration and Emerging Scholars for Advancing Health-Promoting Campuses 4. Education, Training, and Development for Advancing Health Promotion Capacity across Campuses 5. Okanagan Charter and Framework Adoption The meeting also discussed the launch of the Limerick Framework for Action and strategies to support and advance IHPCN’s priorities and mission.
