ASEAN Institute for Health Development Mahidol University, Organized "Friendship and Cultural Exchange Camp and Mahidol Core Values"

4–5 November 2025


On November 4–5, 2025, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development organized the Friendship and Cultural Exchange Camp and Mahidol Core Values activity at Khao Yai. The event was led by Associate Professor Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Director of the Institute, Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orapin Laosee (Program Director for MPHM), Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cheerawit Rattanapan, Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool along with faculty members, students from the Master of Primary Health Care Management (International Program), staffs and alumni. On the first day of the event, Lecture was conducted about the MU Core Values by instructors along with some activities as a learning and reflection. In the evening, a tribute was made to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit through a warm and heart touching video of her love and contribution to the Thai nation, this followed by a moment of silence to pay condolences and deep respect to the Queen Mother. After that, the MPHM Batch 40 students, shared their home country’s culture, traditions and their life stories to all. On the second day of the event, The MU Core Value activities continued led by the Director of AIHD. The best group awards were distributed, group learning experiences were shared among each other. The purpose of the activity was to foster bonding, promote multicultural exchange, and enhance understanding of Mahidol University's organizational culture. The event took place at Rain Tree Khao Yai Hotel, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. During the one year program 2025-2026, all the activities will be conducted under the memory of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit.
