On November 13, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Junmaimool, Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations at AIHD and Deputy Executive Director of AUN-HPN, convened an online preparatory meeting with representatives from co-hosting universities. The meeting was honored by 1). Dr. Paul Michael R. Hernandez, University of the Philippines Manila 2). Dr. Marie Joy R. Salita, Ateneo de Manila University and 3). Ms. Katherene Arboleda, De La Salle University, along with their working teams.
The meeting was conducted via Zoom Meeting at the Ratchapruek Conference Room, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University. The purpose of this meeting was to ensure the smooth coordination and readiness for the upcoming 10th AUN-HPN International Advisory Committee Meeting and 4th International Health Promotion Conference, which will be held on 27–28 November 2025 at Hilton Manila Newport World Resorts, Philippines with the theme “Advancing Health Promotion in the ASEAN Region: Championing University Innovations for Equity and Resilience.”
The International Advisory Committee (IAC) meeting of the ASEAN University Network – Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN) is held annually to strengthen collaboration in health promotion across the ASEAN region. The committee has a significant role in providing policy recommendations, conceptual frameworks, strategic directions, including valuable insights that contribute to enhance the effective implementation of AUN-HPN’s initiatives. In addition, the IAC meeting is held in conjunction with an International Health Promotion Conference which serves as a platform for researchers from various countries to present their academic work and share experiences in promoting health within higher education institutions.
