The Secretariat of the ASEAN University Network for Health Promotion (AUN-HPN) participated in the project to expand the Thai University Network for Health Promotion in Health Region 4, driven by Rangsit University.

On 14 November 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development and Executive Director of AUN-HPN, was invited as a speaker on the topic “Concepts of a Health-Promoting University.” She was joined by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations at the ASEAN Institute for Health Development and Deputy Executive Director of AUN-HPN, who delivered a lecture on “Case Studies and Practices for Driving a Health-Promoting University.” Both lectures were part of the project to expand the Thai University Network for Health Promotion in Health Region 4 under the leadership of Rangsit University, a member of the Thai University Network for Health Promotion (TUN-HPN). The AUN-HPN Secretariat supported the implementation of this expansion project in Health Region 4 to strengthen the Thai University Network in advancing the Healthy University Policy. The project aims to promote collaboration among public and private universities across eight provinces—Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Sing Buri, Lopburi, Saraburi, and Nakhon Nayok. It focuses on fostering knowledge exchange on health promotion within universities and encouraging institutional development aligned with the Healthy University Framework (HUF) as well as the broader adoption of the Healthy University Rating System (HURS). The event was honored by the participation of – Dr. Wichan Koetwichai, M.D., Emeritus Dean, College of Oriental Medicine, Rangsit University; – Professor Emerita Chutima Sirikulchayanon, M.D., Faculty Member, College of Medicine, Rangsit University; – Associate Professor Dr. Monporn Chatkamni, Director of the Health Welfare Office, Rangsit University; – Assistant Professor Dr. Jiraporn Ketudee, Faculty of Medical Technology , Rangsit University; and – Ms. Duangnapa Boonsong, Faculty of Nursing , Rangsit University all of whom served as speakers, sharing knowledge and experiences with Rangsit University and partner universities. A total of 40 participants from six universities attended the project, including: – Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under the Royal Patronage – Praboromarajchanok Institute – Pathumthani University – Shinawatra University – Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi – Panyapiwat Institute of Management The event was held in Meeting Room 1-301, 3rd Floor, Arthit Ourairat Building (Building 1), Rangsit University, Pathum Thani Province, with support from the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth).
