ASEAN Institute for Health Development Hosts Special Lecture on “Benefit Package and Purchasing”

On 24 November 2025, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), through the Master of Primary Health Care Management (International Program), held a special lecture on the topic “Benefit Package and Purchasing.” The session was honored by the presence of Ms. Nathalie Both, Program Manager of the ILO Decent Work Technical Support Team for East and South-East Asia and the Pacific, who served as the guest speaker. Associate Professor Dr. Orapin Laosee, Chair of the Master of Primary Health Care Management Program, warmly welcomed and expressed appreciation for the speaker’s contribution. The lecture took place at Room 2204, Smart Classroom, Training and Education Building, AIHD. The lecture offered valuable insights into health financing strategies, benefit package design, and purchasing mechanisms within health systems. These concepts are vital for advancing research and strengthening practical competencies related to social health protection, universal health coverage and primary health care contributing to students’ academic and professional development.
