Mahidol University, through the Secretariat of the ASEAN University Network – Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN), Participates in The 4th International Health Promotion Conference in the Philippines

On 28 November 2025, the Secretariat of the ASEAN University Network – Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN), Mahidol University, participated in the 4th International Health Promotion Conference, held as a continuation of The 10th AUN-HPN International Advisory Committee (IAC) Meeting. The conference aimed to advance concepts, standards, and innovations in health promotion within higher education institutions across the ASEAN region, as well as strengthen collaboration among member universities.
The conference comprised three key components:
1. Keynote Sessions addressing critical health challenges, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Mental Health, and Climate Change.
2. Elevator Pitches on Innovations for Healthy Universities, providing a platform for ASEAN universities to showcase outstanding innovations in health promotion.
3. Oral Presentations, featuring a total of six research works under the theme “Advancing Health Promotion in the ASEAN Region: Championing University Innovations for Equity and Resilience”, highlighting progress toward developing strong and equitable healthy universities.
In addition, AUN-HPN provided funding support for Mr. Jaranrat Toranonboonsong, a medical student from the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, who was selected as an oral presenter at the conference on topic “Integrating Public Health and Health Promotion into Medical Extracurricular Programs: Bridging Faculties, Communities and Public Sector Agencies for Equity and Resilience”
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development and Executive Director of AUN-HPN, had the honor of presenting awards to outstanding speakers and presenters at the conference.
