The ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, is delighted to share the special lecture titled “Climate Change and Population Health in Singapore”, held on 2nd December 2025 via Zoom.
We were honored to welcome Asst. Prof. Dr. Seow Wei Jie from the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore, as our distinguished speaker.
The session began with a warm welcome from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cheerawit Rattanapan, Deputy Director for Research and Academic Affairs and brought together participants from various academic backgrounds.

•An overview of the interconnected pathways between climate change, air pollution, and population health
•Findings from a systematic review on climate change and health outcomes in Singapore
•Evidence on air pollution and its impact on respiratory, cardiovascular, and mental health
•Research methods and emerging directions in climate–health science.
The lecture provided valuable scientific knowledge and meaningful discussion on environmental health challenges and future research needs in the region
