AIHD, Mahidol University participated in a merit-making and alms-giving ceremony on the auspicious occasion of the New Year 2026.

On 26 December 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orapin Laosee, Deputy Director for Administration and Academic Services, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dr. Cheerawit Rattanapan, Deputy Director for Research and Academic Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations; as well as faculty members and staff, took part in a merit-making and alms-giving ceremony for 30 monks in celebration of the auspicious New Year 2026, to bring good fortune. The ceremony was presided over by Prof. Dr. Sompop Prathanturarug, Vice President for Strategic Planning, Quality Development, and Social Engagement, Mahidol University, who also delivered New Year blessings to the Mahidol University community. The event was held at the Phra Phuttha Maha Siripeerayapath Hall, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
