AUN-HPN Secretariat, Mahidol University, held a meeting with the Thai University Network for Health Promotion (TUN-HPN) to discuss and prepare for the 3rd International Academic Conference.

On 15 January 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, and Executive Director of the ASEAN University Network–Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN), together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Chanmaimul, Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, and Deputy Executive Director of AUN-HPN, Mahidol University, met with the Thai University Network for Health Promotion (TUN-HPN). The meeting aimed to discuss and prepare for the 3rd International Academic Conference under the theme “Integrating Prevention and Risk Reduction: Driving Safe Universities toward a Healthy Thai Society.” The meeting was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Jirawat Phatsara, Assistant to the President of Chiang Mai University and Chairperson of the Thai University Network for Health Promotion. It was held at the Krasae Chanawong Room, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, and via Zoom Meeting. During the meeting, participants jointly discussed directions and planning for the 3rd International Academic Conference, which is scheduled to be held on 26–27 March 2026 in Chiang Mai Province. Key agenda items included keynote lectures, panel discussions, presentation of academic works under the conference themes, workshops, and the 18th Meeting of the Thai University Network for Health Promotion (TUN-HPN) Committee. This academic conference is of great significance as it serves as a platform for exchanging knowledge on health promotion among higher education institutions at the national level, supporting the integration of research into practical implementation, and strengthening collaboration between the Thai University Network and the ASEAN University Network. The conference is supported by the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth) to drive the Healthy University policy forward.
