ASEAN Institute for Health Development Conducts Training on Solid Waste Management

On 21 January 2026, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatchawal Silpakit, M.D., Director of the Contemplative Education Centre, Mahidol University, along with staff members, on the occasion of their study visit on waste segregation practices at the Institute.
On this occasion, Dr. Tarinee Buadit, a lecturer at the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, was honored to serve as a guest speaker, delivering a lecture on the topic of “Waste Segregation” to executives, faculty members, and staff from the Center for Contemplative Education at Meeting Room 2106, Education and Training Building. The program also included a site visit to observe the Institute’s waste segregation system.
This study visit was part of the project “Sort it Right: Proper Separation, Caring for the Planet,” a collaborative initiative among four units: the Nakhon Sawan Campus Establishment Project, Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, and the Center for Contemplative Education. The project is supported by funding from the SDGs Living Lab Funding program, aiming to drive sustainable development at Mahidol University.
