ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, Holds a Meeting with Assoc. Prof. Renzo R. Guinto from the National University of Singapore

On 23 January 2026, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cheerawit Rattanapan, Deputy Director for Research and Academic Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Janmaimoon, Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations, together with Dr. Kwang Mo Yang, faculty members of the institute and staff, welcomed Assoc. Prof. Renzo R. Guinto, MD, DrPH, Associate Professor and Lead of Planetary Health at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute, Duke-NUS Medical School, National University of Singapore, on the occasion of his visit to the Institute. On this occasion, both parties held discussions on approaches to establishing academic collaboration, including conducting research on Planetary Health and forming a Global Health collaboration network. The discussions emphasized driving research on climate change and its health impacts at both regional and international levels. This cooperation will help strengthen academic and research capacities and advance the Institute’s role as the Mahidol University Global Health Coordinator Unit (MUGH). The meeting was held at Ratchaphruek Meeting Room, Administration Building, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University.
