On 23 January 2026, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, had the honor of hosting a special lecture by Assoc. Prof. Renzo R. Guinto, MD, DrPH, from the National University of Singapore, on the topic “The Future of Planetary Health and the Role of ASEAN.” The lecture highlighted perspectives on the future direction of academic development in Planetary Health within the ASEAN regional context. The session was opened with welcome remarks by Dr. Kwang Mo Yang, a faculty member of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development. This lecture provided an opportunity for students of the Master of Primary Health Care Management (International Program) and the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Health and Sustainable Development (International Program), as well as AIHD staff and external participants, to attend, engage in academic discussions, and exchange perspectives. The event was held at Room 2204, Training and Education Building, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University.
