AUN-HPN Secretariat Holds Meeting with Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Brunei

On 30 January 2026, the ASEAN University Network – Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN) Secretariat, led by Associate Professor Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, and Deputy Executive Director of the AUN-HPN, held a meeting with representatives from Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Brunei Darussalam. The delegation from Universiti Brunei Darussalam was led by Hjh Maudena binti Haji Abdul Hamid, Assistant Vice Chancellor (University Life and Governance), along with her team. The meeting aimed to discuss approaches for strengthening collaboration among ASEAN universities in advancing health promotion initiatives, as well as to plan a workshop entitled “Advancing Healthy Campuses through the Healthy University Rating System (HURS)” to be held in Brunei Darussalam. The workshop seeks to support universities in applying the Healthy University Framework (HUF) to foster healthier and more sustainable university environments. The meeting was held at the Krasae Chanawongse Meeting Room, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, and via an online platform.
