Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D.; Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University joined “International Conference on Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology 2021 under the ASEAN Centre for Active Ageing and Innovation (ACAI)”, with the theme: Impact of COVID-19 on ASEAN ageing Society, on 27 April 2021 via online.
During this conference, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul; Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Public Health presided over and welcomed participants. Mr. Somsak Akksilp, M.D. Director – General of Department of Medical Services was honored to give a speech on “establish ASEAN Centre for Active Ageing (ACAI), Active Ageing in Thailand and ASEAN countries, and management guidelines”. Moreover, Mr. Sakarn Bunnag, M.D., Director of Institute of Geriatric Medicine was honored to give a speech on “Policy for ASEAN elderly”. This conference will be held on 27-28 April 2021 via online system.
