July 6th, 2021, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, MD, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development and Executive Director of ASEAN University Network for Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN) joined the Asian Global Health Alliance (AGHA) Core Group Meeting. The core team worked on the AGHA’s value proposition, values and principles that the Alliance would be based on and ways to decolonizing the concept of public health and global health in the context of Asia. Expanding the network, funding, equity gradient, Asia’s curriculum for global health and potential publication were also discussed among the participants. The group will be served as the first platform for sustained discussion and debates about global health in Asia.
