AIHD held a meeting with ILO to accredit MPHM-SHP program

On 27 July 2021, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D., Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development #AIHD held a meeting with International Labor Organization (ILO) to develop the Master’s Program in Primary Health Care Management and Social Health Protection for accreditation via online platform.
On this occasion, Ms. Marielle Phe Goursat; Chief Technical Adviser -ILO-Lux Social Health Protection Programme in Vietnam, Lao PDR, and Myanmar, and Ms. Vesna Jovic; Social Protection Officer, ILO Decent Work Technical Support Team for East and South-East Asia and the Pacific, on behalf of ILO, introduced Prof. Konrad Obermann; Senior Lecturer at the Mannheim Institute of Public Health, Heidelberg University, Germany who is an expert from Europe to give suggestions for working out guidelines for Quality Assurance (QA) in the Master’s Program in Primary Health Care Management (International Program) (MPHM) in Social Health Protection (SHP) from QA of organizations in Europe.
Moreover, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Asst. Prof. Dr. Orapin Laosee, and Dr. Nalinee Nakittipha Chuakhamfoo; AIHD instructors for MPHM program, together with Dr. Win Khaing; AIHD foreign expert, and Mr. Jeevan Bhatta; AIHD foreign instructor also joined this meeting.
In addition, ILO planned to welcome and support experts from Europe for AIHD to prepare QA evaluation for MPHM-SHP. AIHD will plan to have executives and teams working specifically in the field of quality assurance and the cost of accreditation. It is estimated that it will take approximately 1-2 years to complete the QA evaluation.
