AIHD hands educational assistance to students in Phutthamonthon District

The ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD) organized a charity event handing out educational assistance to the students in the communities in Phutthamonthon District on 23 July 2020 at Boonsiri Conference Room, AIHD. The event was in part of AIHD’s celebration of its 37th Founding Anniversary and aimed to build relationships with the communities around Mahidol University and promote the importance of education. Assoc. Prof. Thanya Subhadrabandhu, M.D., Acting Vice President of Mahidol University, did the honor and presided over the distribution of the educational assistance of 3,100 baht to each of the 37 student recipients coming from 8 different schools in Phutthamonthon District. The 8 schools in Phutthamonthon District, where the student recipients came from, were Banklongmahasawat School, Wat Salawon School, Phra Tamnak Suankulab Mahamongkol School, Wat Suwannaram School, Boonyasrisawad School, Bankhlongyong School, Bansawangarom School, and Wat Maklue School. Prof. Paichit Pawabutr, M.D., Ex- Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Public Health and a Consultant Committee of AIHD along with the AIHD Board, AIHD lecturers, and other generous individuals were the ones who provided the money for educational assistance. A total amount of 114,700 Thai Baht was raised for the said charity event.
