On 24 August 2021, Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D.; Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University and head of the project “Policy options for strengthening district committee on improving quality of life (district health board: DHB)” interviewed advisory members for DHB, and committee members of the Provincial Health Board via Zoom Meeting.
On this occasion, Mr. Akekapong Juisamran; Vice Governor, Saraburi was assigned by Mr. Manrat Ratanasukon; Governor, Saraburi to join this meeting with the research team from local region and AIHD.
During the meeting, Mr. Akekapong shared ideas and gave suggestions on the roles of DHB, supporting guidelines, achievement factors, sustainability, integration, and related policies. After the meeting, the researchers will apply the interview results to analyze and synthesize DHB’s policy for proposing to the Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Interior, and other network partners to develop the quality of life towards the achievement of sustainable development goals.
